Prompts and resources

Presets control prompts and resources similarly to tools, but the rules differ slightly.

UI behavior

In the Preset editor:

• Open the Prompts or Resources section.
• Select items from the connected servers list.
• Disable items to remove them from the preset.

Allow list behavior

• If a list is not set, Broxy includes all items from in-scope servers.
• If a list is set but empty, Broxy exposes none of them.
• If the list is set and contains items, only enabled items are included.

Resource keys

Resources are matched by their URI when present, otherwise by name. For resource templates, use the template string (for example docs://page/{id}) as the resource key.

Interaction with fallback tools

If prompt/resource fallback is enabled in Settings, prompts and resources can also appear as synthetic tools. See Prompts/resources as tools for details.
